Hi Book lovers,

This is our story:

We are a team of family and friends who had the vision to open The Bookhouse Hotel in a historic building that used to be a bookstore in Kennett Square, Pa. With over 5,000 books left behind, we couldn't bear to part with them, so we came up with the idea of the boutique hotel. Who wouldn't want to sleep in a bed surrounded by books?! It is pure magic.

Since it was such a hit, we are now working on our second location in West Chester, Pa. It’s a 7 room Italianate style mansion that will have a library, a parlor AND we will be able to host weddings, book balls, book signings, book clubs, etc. Needless to say, we are freaking excited!

In the midst of all of this, we had an idea to grow this community even further and start the quarterly book club membership. We launched a few months ago with the 29 original members. Now it feels like the right time to open it up to everyone. One of our favorite things to do is packing the boxes to send out to our members every quarter, wrapping the gifts and choosing books that we know will bring joy! We love meeting new people, throwing parties, (hope to see you at the annual book ball) and bringing people together through the love of literature. The universe leads us to unexpected places sometimes and we are so happy to be here. We hope
